Where possible deliveries are made on Wednesdays, we endeavour to give an approximate delivery time i.e  am or pm.

1. A 10% deposit (50% on large buildings) must be paid on ordering.  Payment must be made in full 7 working days before delivery to S & K Miller at the above address. Or cash (not cheque) on delivery by prior arrangement. Failure to do so will result in a delay on your given delivery date.

2. A solid level base must be provided by the customer before installation can be carried out.  If an adequate base has not been prepared upon arrival all outstanding balances must be paid, and the building will be left tidily stored but unassembled at the customers’ pemises.  A £40 revisit charge will have to be made in advance if our fitters  are to return  and complete the assembly.

3. It is highly recommended that customers treat their new building as soon as possible after delivery with a reputable timber preservative which is water repellent, if not treated by us prior to delivery.

4. The company reserves the right to make such changes to the design and materials used as it feels fit in line with its policy of continued development.  No prior notice will be given.

5. Deposits are not refundable on buildings cancelled within 48 hrs of the scheduled delivery date.

6. Fair and reasonable access must be provided to  the intended site.  If a building is taken through a property or through neighbour’s property or garden the company accepts no responsibility for any damage caused.  In addition where access is impossible or dangerous to our staff the building will be left tidily stored but unassembled for the customer to arrange installation.

7. Delivery dates are quoted as accurately as possible but circumstances beyond our control may result in the time and delivery being changed. Delivery dates or times cannot be guaranteed.

8. Timber is a natural material and as such is subject to seasonal movement and occasional splits, lifting and knot holes etc:  This does not affect the structural stability or performance of the building.

9. In the event of any claim, the seller’s liability will in no circumstances exceed the cost of the defective piece(s).  Liability does not cover any damage caused by storms or high winds/adverse weather conditions or mis-use.

10. All timber sizes quoted are finished sizes after machining.

11. All goods remain the property of the company until paid in full.
